Gold stars lor twenty-live years’ service wore presented to 11. C. Robbins (llawera), J. A. I layman (ICaiapoi), A. ITarkncas (Invercargill), G. J>. Holland (Fastown Railway!. Tlio election of officers resulted:— Foreman Wildish (Gisborne); vicepresidents, Jloyes (Nelson) and Supt. Lucas (Napier); secretary, J. G. Gilliord (Napier); treasurer, Captain Sprigging (Wanganui); auditor, j. W. Garner.
Captain Hanson, the retiring president, was presented with an honorary member's certificate for past services. VISITING DELEGATES ENTERTAINED. Proas Association. MASTERTON, March 11. The visiting delegates to the Eire Brigades Conference were entertained at a banquet to-night by the local firemen The lion, j. Carroll was pro--sent.
