ORMOND. (From our Correspondent.) It affords mo much pleasure to report two gratifying events which took placo in the Presbyterian Church last week, when tlio committee presented Air W. F. Hatton, who has since left on a short visit to the Old Country, with a handsome pocket-book _ and fountain-pen as a mark oi their esteem for Him and appreciation of his services to the Church, and tlio Bov. E. A resident is anxious to meet tho unscrupulous individuals; wlio caused him the annoyance of having to go to Opotiki after two of his horses which they had borrowed without- leave. An establishment was opened on Saturday for the sale of hot pies. _ I don’t know if they sold well, but investors say that they tasted “fine,”
