Tito floods are .receding at Namibia, but railway communication is still interrupted owing to washaways. The damage to property and losses of stock are very severe. The rescue work provided some thrilling experiences at Wee NVnii. The water is still rising. Yestordav tho residents took refuge in ■buildings on tho high ground. Business has been completely suspended. The railway is under water for miles. Parties are out rescuing isolated families. The bodies of two men are reported to have been seen floating in the river at Tamwortli. A family took refuge in a haystack, where they spout two d lys. Ccdlarendahri is isolated by tho floods, and lias had no train lor a. week. The food supplies are getting short. At Wee Waa and Narrabri tlie worst is past, the waters now receding. , „ ROCKHAMPTON, Afareli 21. The flood waters are still rising. All the lower parts of the town and the whole of Rockhampton eommon have been submerg'd.
