THE REQUIRED SUBSIDY.
United Press Association—Copyright (Received Alarcli 22, 4.15 p.m.) OTTAAVA, Alareh 21. Air. Sefton, in the Dominion House of Commons, said that conversations he had had with Air. Lloyd-George and Air. Asquith showed that Britain would give sympathetic consideration to any definite proposition for an “All Red” route fourteen-knot service. The required subsidy was a million, Canada paying £325,000, New Zealand £IOO,OOO, and Britain half a million.
