WAIAPU RACES,
Tho annual meeting of the Waiajiu Racing Club, which was postponed from Saturday on account of tho rain, was held on tho Mangahanao Racecourse yesterday. Some showers fell in tho district during tho morning, hut did not prevent a fair crowd from being present. Tlio meeting was a successful one, and tho racing good. The blowing aro the results:— Handicap Hurdles, 1J miles: Glen A trie L Creeping Jane 2. Maiden Plate, 6 furlongs: AVairangi 1, Star 2. Waiapu Cup, 1) miles: lToay 1, Waimaori 2-
District Scurry, 5 furlongs: Flume 1, Star 2. Flying Handicap, 6 furlongs: Lady Crispin 1, Glen Alric 2. District Welter Handicap, 1 mile: Awanui 1, Wanderer 2. Farewell Handicap, 1 mile: Reay 1, Princo Hassan 2.
