IXAUGUBAL MEETING.
Press Association. NE W PLYMOUTH, Ala roll 24. The inaugural meeting of the New Plymouth Fire Board was held toynight, when it was decided to retain the service of the Volunteer Fire Brigade in the present form, for the time being, until the conference with the brigade executive be held. A secretary, valuer, superintendent, and deputy were appointed, and the Borough Council is to be asked to advance £SO for contingent expenses. The guestion of forming a fire police and salvage corps is to be discussed later.
