Alfred Deakin to represent Australia at the Quebec terccntary. After communication with jtarl Dudley, ATr. Deakin" replied regretting that parliamentary duties would preclude his visiting Canada, but he had arranged with Earl Dudley to represent the Commonwealth at the celebrations.
