INDIGNANT INDIANS.
United Press Association—Copyright VANCOUVER, March 24 A mass meeting of Indians.at Vancouver cabled to Mr. Morjey protesting against the deportation by the Executive of Canada, declaring they were British subjects, and claimed Government protection throughout the Empire. If their interests were overlooked the people of India would resent it.

Justice Clement ‘lias decided that the Order of Council of Bth January is illegal, technically, and has ordered the .Hindus to be released.

Lanrier, in the Dominion House, cxolained in reference to the Hindus nrotest, that admission was refused to all Asiatics and European immigrants unless they were furnished with through tickets from the country of origin. - In reference to the German who had been refused admission, as cabled oil the 16th, Sir TV. Lairncr thought that that was carrying a j good principle too far. i
BRITAIN SENDS AN ENVOY
United Press Association— Copyright (Received March 25, 9.49 P-"i.) LONDON, March 26. In the 'House of Commons, Mr. M'Orley, in referring to the Indians protest meeting at Vancouver, stated that -after consulting the Indian Government, the Colonial Office is sending an envoy to the Dominion Government, in the hope of terminating if possible an extremely difficult, intricate, and possibly dangerous question.
