RIFLE-SHOOTING.
GISBORNE RIFLES,
Company orders have been made as follows by* Captain Beere:—Tile company will parade as under: Friday, 27th March, at 7.30; service uniform, marching order (leggings and haversacks). Friday, 3rd April, at 7.30; service uniform and leggings tor combined parade, with Cadets for battalion drill. Friday, 10th April, at 7.30; full dress and leggings. The Stall Instructor will conduct the following classes at 7.30 each evening: Monday, 30th March, all N.C. officers, camp duties and discipline; Tuesday, 31st March, semaphore; Wednesday, Ist April, equipment and general duties for Easter. A Church parade will probably l>e arranged for the 12th April, for which orders will be advertised. Special Easter orders will be issued later, and in tho meantime members will require to have the following articles ready: Waterproof sheet, oilskin overcoat,- blankets, spare change of underclothing, strong pair boots (with nails), towel, soaps, and toilet requisites, knife, fork, and spoon. A ‘kit bag will be issued later. Waterproof sheets can now be obtained from the defence store, at 6s each for one, or 5s each for a quantity. Members requiring these must inform the Q.M.S. before the 28th inst.
