RECOVERY OF BODY

Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, March 2/. The body of James Lindsay, the cook on s.s. Tainni, was recovered ill the Waitara river to-day with a deep gagli showing on the head. The steanier was lying alongside the wliarr, and it is presumed that deceased missed his footing while going aboard on Wednesday night. He only shinned this trip at Wellington, where he is believed to have a wife residing at Taranaki street.
