FIJIAN FATALITY.

YOUNG MAN DROWNED. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 31. A sul drowning fatality is reported from Tailevu (says the “Fiji Times” of March 21). Mr. Lionel "Coward, second son of Mr. W. Levesor Coward, was fixing up some small repairs on a cutter, and, not answering to lrs sister’s call, she .went to the river, and found lie had disappeared. His hat was floating in the water, and some natives found his body in the middle of the river. Deceased was 27 years of age, and was a favorite with both the white and native population. . Being an epileptic subject, it is supposed Mr. Coward dropped into the river while suffering from a seizure.
