ALLOTMENT OP SCHOLARSHIPS
(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, March 31. The Theological Committee of the Presbyterian Church has awarded the folio wing scholarships to students who passed the matriculation examination in December List: Yule No. 1 scholarship, £2-5 a year, for 3 years: 'R. S. Watson, Feilding; .St. Pauls office bearer (Wanganui) scholarship, £2-3 a year for 3 years, E. J. Tippler, East Pareqr.i; “Mary” scholarship, £2O ,a year, 3 years, J. P. White, Pleasant Point; (Somerville No. 2 scholarship, £2O a year, 3 years, W. Raff, Dunedin; Auld Lang Syne Club scholarship, £2O a year, 3 years, J. P. Boyle, Hastings. The Committee, will endeavor to find a scholarship for ,J). N. McDiarinid, New Plymouth, who gained 432 marks when lie matriculated in. 1902. Rev. G. B. Monro, Remuera, has secured a “Remuer.i” scholarship of £25 a year, 3 years, which lie wishes assigned to Harold Peat. The Committee lias agreed to this. It. is understood Air AJonro has raised, some other money for the scholarship fund.
