CARTERS AGAIN -PROMISE TROUBLE. TAMPERING WITH MACHINERY. SYDNEY, April 1. The fact that the Newcastle Company is managing to despatch A number of steamers is causing uneasiness to strikers, especially carters, who again threaten .trouble. Tho North Coast Co.’s steamer Buntlah, which sailed yesterday, was delayed owing to alleged tampering with the machinery. HOPEFUL PROSPECTS.
