MR. CLIFTON’S STATEMENT REFUTED. Press Association. NAPIER, April 6. At a meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Rabbit Board to-day, it was reported tliat the statements which had been made to the. effect that rabbits had invaded Wairoa from Hawke’s 'Bay were incorrect.
