HOLIDAY NOTICE. GOOD FRIDAY AND EASTER MONDAY, 17 th ami 20th APRIL, 1908. Good Friday and Easter Monday the 17th and 20th April, will be observed by the Post and Telegraph Offices as holidays. The .following hours will bo observed at the Chief Post Office., Gisborne:— Post Office.—A close holiday will be observed on Good Friday. On Easter .Monday, the 20tli April, the Post Office will bo open in all branches, except the Money Order and Savings Rank, from fl a.m. to 10 a.m. On the evenings of Thursday, 16tli, and Saturday, 18th April, all receivers and nesting boxes will be cleared. Mails usually despatched on Friday will bo closed at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday night. On Monday, the 20th April, the usual despatch of mails up to 8 a.m. will be made. A delivery of town letters will bo made from the Post Office private box wicket on Thursday and Saturday evenings, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Telegraph Office—Good Friday, 9.30 to 10 a.m., and 5 to 5.30 p.m. Easter Monday. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone Exchange.—Good Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Easter Monday, as usual, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. W. H. RENNER, Chief Postmaster, Gisborne.
