Mr. H. J. Brownlee, architect, returned from Tologa Bay last evening. Mr C. H. Ambridge left by tho southern boat last evening for the purpose of attending tho biennial conference of the New Zealand ‘branch of Oddfellows, Manchester Unity, which opens at New Plymouth on Easter Monday. Mr. Trent, Commissioner of Crown Lauds, and Messrs Hyde and Lane, members of tho Land Board, went South by the Manuka last night. Mr. S. Gumming, late of the local Post Office, was a passenger South by tho Manuka. Mr. A. L. Muir, editor of the “Poverty Bay Herald,” left for tho South last evening.
