The Ngunguru arrived from Karnmea at- 10.5 to-night. Captain Fletcher reports that the Taviuui is about 000 yards west of tlio breakwater, lying broadside on to the sea. There is a big swell, ami it is probable the vessel will be driven further ashore on the sandy bench. The tug lias gone out. The s.s. Komata leaves at midnight, and the Mnpourika is expected from Grey mouth about o o’clock. High tide is about 4 o’clock, and an attempt is to be made to got a cable aboard the Taviuui to hold her till the tide is at the full.
