FLOODED OUT. A HEAVY LOSS TO THE DISTRICT. (Press Association.) GK.EYMOUTH, May 10. Tho heavy rain experienced on the Coast the last few dayi> lias caused the flooding of tho Tyneside mine. On Friday night the mine manager and 'minors had a fight to keep back tho water, but it steadily increased until it reached tho pumps, and at cloven o’clock on Saturday morning the mine was abandoned. The loss to the district is considerable as tho weekly coal output is 2,000 tons and 150 men are (thrown out of employment. „ ~ It is held by exports that the nunc is a total loss. Throe shifts 'Will he put on on Monday at the old Brunnor mine to provido coal for local consumption. _____
