THE WELLINGTON GLUT. NON-EXISTENT IN AUCKLAND. Press Association. AUCKLAND May 11, Complaints have recently been instituted in Wellington with regard to what is termed “tho glut in tho labor market thejfc, due to tlio supplies through immigration and otter channels proving too groat for the demand. On application to Mr. J. bfianaghan, officer in charge of the local Labor Bureau, it was learned that such a condition of affairs can in no way ho said to exist in Auckland. “We have no congestion of the unemployed hero,” said Mr. Shanagan, “and although, as is always tho case, there are a few men who cannot bo suited, work can nearly always bo found for good men, and the supply and demand just about balance. W t have very few men out oi work Auckland.”
