HARBOR ELECTION. ELECTORS OF COOK AND WAIAPU COUNTIES. Ladies and gentlemen,—. I have much pleasure in ottering my services for til© vacant seat on the Gisborne Harbor Board. I have a strong belief m the future of the East Coast and its immense possibilities. . ■ I have noted with satisfaction the expansion of our trade and the increase of our products, and few things would give me greater pleasure than seeing that rapid expansion continued even at a greater rate than hitherto. To aid this development, our shipping facilities must lie improved and more frequent communication with, outside parts must be sought. As a member of the Board for many years, niy views on harbor matters generally no doubt are well known to you. Suffice it to say now-that if elected I shall see that Mr. Marchant’s outer harbor scheme with all available information relating thereto is placed before the ratepayers at as early a date as possible.
