I have noted with satisfaction the expansion of our trudo and tlio increase of our products, and few things: would give mo greater ploasuro than seeing that rapid expansion continued even at a greater rato than hitherto. , To aid this development, our ship:J ping facilities must be improved .and more frequent communication with outside parts must be sought. As a member of tho Board for many years, my views on harbor matters generally no doubt are well known to you. Suffice it to say now' that if elected. I shall see that Mr. Marchant’s outer harbor schemo with all available information relating thereto is placed before the ratepayers at as early a date as possible. I am, Yours faithfully, JOHN TOWNLEY.
