HARBOR ELECTION. ELECTORS OF COOK AND WAIAPU COUNTIES. Ladies and gentlemen,— I have much ploasuro in offering my services for the vacant seat on the Gisborno Harbor Board. I have a strong bolief in tho future of tlio East Coast and its immense possibilities. I have noted with satisfaction the expansion of our trudo and tlio increase of our products, and few things: would give mo greater ploasuro than seeing that rapid expansion continued even at a greater rato than hitherto. , To aid this development, our ship:J ping facilities must be improved .and more frequent communication with outside parts must be sought. As a member of tho Board for many years, my views on harbor matters generally no doubt are well known to you. Suffice it to say now' that if elected. I shall see that Mr. Marchant’s outer harbor schemo with all available information relating thereto is placed before the ratepayers at as early a date as possible.
