PROSPECTIVE CURRENCY LEGISLATION.
BANKING ASSOCIATION TO BE ESTABLISHED.

Washington telegrams indicate the prospect of fairly satisfactory currency legslation passing in the shape of a Conference Bill, authorising the establishment of a banking association for tho purpose of issuing an emergency circulation amounting to £100,000,000, based on tho securities, including commercial paper, held by national banks.
