The conference of delegates to the New Zealand dinghy Union carried, by 2(i to 12, a resolution in iavor of substituting test matches at Dunedin and Auckland for those against Island teams on June 26th and July 25th. Mr Denoir said the question of getting leave would be very troublesome. The conference also requested the Union to consider a general scheme of insurance for players, defeated the motion to abandon North v. South match this year, and voted £2OO to fostering football in public schools. After considerable discussion the final distribution or profits from the British tour was left to the management committee, also the question of distributing profits from other matches. A proposal not to charge interest on loans to unions was lost by a large majority.
