The Rev. I*. Ramsay went south by the s.s. Victoria last night eu route to Hastings. Constable McPherson left for Napier last night in Charge of four prisoners. Mr. B. M. Wilson, Registrar of the Arbitration Court, arrived from Auckland yesterday. Mr C. E. Nurse, who has for several years past been engaged in survey work under Mr W. O’Ryan, engineer to the Wa'iapu County Council, left', with Mrs Nurse, for Wellington last night by the s.s. Victoria. Air Nurse will take up his residence in Wellington for an indefinite period. Air arid Airs Nurse will be grpatly missed on tlie' Coast, where they were very, popular; Judge (Sim and Alessrs S. Brown and J. A. McCullough, members of tlie Arbitration Court, arrived from Auckland by the s.e. Victoria yesterday.
