At; the conclusion of evidence at 1 o’clock on Saturday, the jury retired for three-quarters of an hour, and Oil their 'return the foreman stated the jury having carefully considered all the evidence brought before them concerning the circumstances of the death of Edward John Bourke, found in McLaughlin’s cart shed on May Sth, were led to believe that Bourke met his death by foul play, and Connelly, Haliman, and Anderson were all implicated in hi 6 death.

Haliman and Anderson stand charged with murder,'and will come before the Magistrate on Tuesday. Connelly is the Crown’s chief witness against the two prisoners.
