These teams met first yesterday, and a fast game resulted in favor of the former by two goals to one. Giinlintoil and Robertson scored for City, and Brown for To Ran. Fo-r ‘bo winners Doyle, Armstrong,’ Grimmon, and Buscke played well, while Bro.vii, Gideon, and Cockerell were the ", outstay.of the losers. Mr. A. G. l.aurens'on officiated as referee. ■ A fist gamo between these seams resulted in a draw. Malloy scored for the Reds and Grieyo for Kin Kalla. For the AVhitcs Garrett, Grant, McLean, and Grieve played well, ard Olsen., Nasmith, Hooper, and Rod-' crick were most conspicuous for AVcs t End. Mr. Armstrong refereed, giving every satisfaction.' Good form was shown in both these games, and the play was a great improvement on that of the previous week, tho first season’s players showing up well.
