Juno 16. -Several newspapers criticise Mr. Lloyd-Goorge's tentative proposads for‘a sliding scale for pensions as evidence that the scheme has been hurriedly prepared and the changes swelling the total cost. The “Times” says that the leak will be continually enlarged on the plea that there is distributable wealth m the country.
