At a meeting of the shareholders of tho Page-Morris Company, formed for the purpose of pushing the interests of the Australian claimants to tlie Page millions, Mr. Jobson, who was sent to England to make inquiries, detailed the fruits of his mission. He found tint Pago did not die intestate, but left his estate to his lawyer. Even if lie had died intesato the statute of limitation would have: barred the company’s claims. Counsel advised Mr. Jobson that further prosecution- of the claim would be useless, and an. unprofitable waste of tho company’s assets. - The meeting, decided to a6k the shareholders t 0 consent to a voluntary winding up of the comapny.
