SOLOMON ISLANDS TRAGEDY.
A TRADER MURDERED. UNREST AMONG THE NATIVES. United Press Association. Copyright (Received June 19, 11.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 19. - News by an Island steamer in the British trade state that Oliver Burns was murdered by natives at the Solomon Islands. Burns’ station was looted and burned, and his trading schooner was destroyed. There is much unrest on tho other islands of the group, and the natives are -threatening to wipe out the whites.
