Between 30 and 40 horses engaged at tlie Gisborne Racing Club’s winter meeting to bo held noxt month are in steady work at the Park racecourse. Last, week tho rain interfered with training operations, and nothing beyond trotting and cantering was done. \V. Mobberley arrived from Napier on Saturday with Loch Fyne and Waikeknu, and both horses are looking well.

Jo connection with the meeting on July 9th .and 10th, the name of Pliookn (9.0) in the Flying Handicap was not included in the telegraphed weights.
