GREY-MOUTH, June 22. , A correspondent of the Argus -M Reeftoir te-legraphe: “The president of the Inangahua Miners Union Jin.-. received a telegraph message this day from the secretary of the Union at Otira as' follows. ‘ln the event of no settlement being arrived at witlnn one week all men coa-’o work on tunnel.
CHRISTCHURCH. Jmu\22. . ..\t « meeting of the Otira Union, held yesterday, the following resolution was adopted, "That McLean Bros, be allowed one week to come to some reasonable settlement with the men engaged on the work, ami failing a settlement, all the- men to cease work on the 29th inst.
