WAERENGA-A-HIKA BURGLARY.

AN ARREST EFFECTED. ORMOND RESIDENT TO BE CHARGED. 11l connection with the burglary which took place at Mr. R.. Colebrook's store at Waerenga-a-hika on April 22nd, the police, who have been steadily following certain clues obtained at the time of the occurrence, took further action yesterday, and apprehended a young man named Edward ißoniface, a resident of Ormond, who is alleged to he implicated in the affair. v - . Detective Rawle went out to Ormond yesterday, and, in -co-operation with Constable Doyle, of Te Karaka, arrested ißoniface.

The accused man was conveyed to town and lodged in the police cells. He will appear at the Police Court this morning before Mr. W. A. Barton. S.M., and will most probably be remanded.
