The Wellington Harbor Board decided to-day to increase various wages and salaries, amounting altogether to £1535 per .annum. The harbormaster is to receive £550, with annual increments of £25 till £6OO is reached. The minimum wage of permanent laborers ds now fixed at- 8s (xl per day. .The chairman said the Board recognised that the cost of living had increased.
