The iHiulilart-L’iirker Co.’s Victoria arrived, from .South early on Saturday morning mid sailed lor Auckland in the forenoon. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Fanny arrived from Napier on Saturday morning with general cargo, and returned In the evening, via Waikokopu. . . The ketch Coronation arrived in the Bay on Friday evening from Whitianga, and came alongside the wharf later. She left her loading port on 22nd hist., and passed East Gape at 5 a. lll. on Thursday morning. A strong north-east gale was experienced prior to reaching the Cape, hut from that point onward favorable winds were experienced. The vessel hrought 80,000 ft of timber for various consignees. The Tyser liner Tomoana arrived from Auckland last night to load frozen meat, wool, etc., for London. Loading operations will he commenced this morning, and the vessel is expected to leave for South to-mor-row evening. The scow Gannet arrived in the Bay on Friday evening, and was brought alongside the wharf later on at night. She had a. fairly good trip down, leaving Mercury Bay on Wednesday. Her cargo consisted of 30,000 ft of timber and G 4 tons of rails for the Railway Department. The TJ.S.S. Co.’s Waikare arrived from Auckland yesterday afternoon, and loft for South again at night. The scow Ramhler arrived from Whaugaroi on Saturday afternoon. She left her loading port on Tuesday afternoon with a favorable north-east breeze, which held all the way to East Capo. At this point the wind died away considerably, and light and variable breezes were experienced for the rest of the trip. Her cargo consists of AS,oooft of kauri timber for the Alpha Sawmills. The auxiliary schooner Kereru arrived yesterday afternoon from Auckland with a cargo of 45,000 bricks for Mr. Geo. Smith. She left Auckland on. Thursday night with a strong north-easter, accompanied by thunder and lighting and a downpour of rain. The weathor moderated considerably the following day, and light winds prevailed for the rest of the trip along the Coast until arrival in this port. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall is expected this evening from Tologu Bay and Auckland, having left the latter port on' Saturday evening. The Tj'.S.S. C.’s Haupiri is at present working the Coast ports on her wav to Auckland.
