Tho increases are: In stamps £14281, railways £G2,293, beer duty £2682, registration and other fees £2722, marine £263, miscellaneous £1206, territorial revonuo £0992. Thero was, however, a soi ious drop of £80,847 fn tho cuxGi 's rovenuo, u:lso a slight dccrcaso in land tax, £1419 and .inconio tax £147.3. Tho Promior states! that the drop in customs was attributable, to tho reductions made in the tariff. THE LOAN OF 1907. Of tho million loan py 907 £SOO.OOO w is obtained at 4 per cdnt'ancl £200,000 at 3) per cent. Of the total amount £77500 was sold; at a premium of 2 per cent, realising £15,430 for premiums. £28,500 was taken up by the public in the Dominion. Tho whole of the loan has been received and credited to the public works fund.
