LONDON, July 13. Mr. W. T. Stead, in an article m the “Dailv Chronicle,” states that the French Government’s exhaustive experiments with the new composition for armor practically upholds the inventor’s claims, namely, that Us resistance is fourfold more than chilled steel, invulnerable to rifle bullets, not heavier than the existing cuirass, costs one-half, and is expeditiously repaired. •
