The Tvser liner Star ot Australia will bo engaged loading in*.the bay to-day. and it is expected that she will be completed to-morrow night, when sho will leave lor South. The U.S.S. Co.’s Mouowai arrives from South to-morrow morning, and continues her voyage to Auckland later. , The Huddart-Parker Co. s Victoria, arrives from Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and sails South in the evenins'ho U.S.S. Co.’s Haupiri returns from Napier earlv this morning. Tlio barquentine Empreza wdl probably s til for Whitianga to-day. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall was due to arrive last night from Tologa Bay and Auckland, and to come alongside on tho early tide this morning. A Press Association telegram from Auckland states that the steamer Rothesay has arrived at Kawhia after a trying time. The crank shaft broke when tho vessel was eight miles from port. Captain Ross shifted the cargo and got sail out. Sho sailed to tho lee of Albatross Point, whore rockets were fired and the steamer anchored.
