In the Cape Assembly, Dr. Viljoen gave notice to inove a resolution declaring that the reasons given for the Australian restrictions on the importation of Cape forage were unsatisfactory, and adding that if the restrictions were necessary to Australia there were similar reasons for restricting tho entry of Australian produce to the Cape. Furthermore, that there was no reason for continuing the differential arrangements between South Africa- and Australia.
