ANOTHER FLOOD FEARED. DANGER OF A FEVER EPIDEMIC [Press Association.J DUNEDIN, July 22. The news of tho thaw and swollen rivers up-country cause further -uneasiness among the Taieri settlers, some ol' whom are moving stock back to higher ground. The , Taieri river rose 3ft at Outram during the day, and also rose durng the night. Many settlers are' suffering from exposure and perpetual damp. The Government concession re free railage of stock was received with gratification. Fever is feared from rotting vegetation and caTcases if warm weather follows the subsiding of.the water. About two-thirds of the farm bauds have been discharged, and all teams are. idle. Reports from Central Otago state that several creeks are in nigh flood.
