WEST END 4 v. TE BAU 1. These teams played first, and the score hardly indicates the difference between the teams, as To Rau by no ■means had. the worst of the play* The game was fast, and was a fairly good exposition of hockey. Alalloy (2), Hooper, and Payne (1 each) were the scorers for AVcst End, and Brown Turei was responsible for To Rau « goal. For the winners Roderick, HUopar, Alalloy, and McLachlan played the best, while Pine, Brown Turei and Hakiwai showed up well for tlie losers. Air. Pavitt refereed. KIA KAHA 1 v. CITY 1. A great “go” was anticipated when these rivals met-, and, as the score sliows, anticipations in this direction were realised, a really good and close game resulting. Pollock scored for Kia Kalia and. Grinliuton for City, the game finally ending in a draw. Arartin, Doyle. Armstrong, and Day played well for City, and Garrett, Bright, and Tabernacle were prominent, for Kia Kalia. Air. 0. R.
