The (shipping companies are anxious to ascertain whether the regular time-table steamers will be sufficient for the requirements of those travelling. It is therefore requested that all lintending passengers shall book on or before Saturday, Ist August, in order that, if necessary, additional provision may be made. Tho indications received so far aro somewhat problematical, hence the desire of the shipping companies for information to enable making arrangements that will obviate disappointment at the last moment.
