NO-LICENSE LEAGUE.

MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Gisborne No-License League was held in Bt. Andrew’s Schoolroom last evening. There wa6 a large attendance of members. Mr. H. J. Blackie, of Auckland, was also present, i anti delivered . a short -address, and promised to again visit Gisborne and deliver a lecture on behalf of the work of the League in His Majesty’s Theatre. Arrangements were made for tho Rev. .Thomas Fee, of Auckland, to conduct a mission extending over a week, during which time lie will visit Ormond and Te Karaka. Mr. T. E. Taylor, of Christchurch, wrote informing the League that if possible -lie "will also visit Gisborne. A vote of thanks was tendered to Air. Bedford for his lectures. A large number of" new members were enrolled, and tho meeting adjourned.
