THE LICENSING BILL. A HUGE .MEETING. United Press Association. Coi'yrigiit LONDON. July 20. A demonstration, numbering ono hundred thousand, with a hundred bands, and scores of banners, was held in Hyde Park in support of tho Licensing Hill. Mr. Churchill claimed that the demonstration proved that tho Bill was suiworted by tho great mass of the people. ■There wore 120 speakers upon 20 platforms.' The speakers included Sir Thos. Whittaker, Messrs Will Crooks and Henderson (Labor monitors), nnd Dr. Clifford.
