A PROTECTING ORDER, United Press Association, Copyright (Received August 12, 11.20 p.ui.) LONDON, August 12. In response to Air. Donkin’s request, and for the protection of the Pacific cnble route, a King’s regulation has been issued-.prohibiting aliens holding lands on "Washington ad Fanning Islands without the consent of the High Commissioner of the Pacific, but without prejudice to existing ownership or treaty rights.
