NO-LICENSE CAMPAIGN. INCREASE OF DRUNKENNESS IN THE DOMINION. THE POLICE REPORT' FOR 1907 SHOWS THAT THERE WERE 10,198 PERSONS PROSECUTED FOR DRUNKENNESS IN NEW ZEALAND IN 1907, AN INCREASE OF 993 ON THE PREVIOUS YEAR. As the number of persons prosecuted for drunkenness in. all the NOLICENSE areas has considerably DECREASED this shows a large INCREASE for the LICENSED areas.
