PRODUCE SALES. Me si's F. S. Malcolm and Co auctioneers report tho following prices realised at- their produce sales on Saturday:—Fowls Is (3d to Is 9d, cockrills Is 4d to Is Gd, roosters 2s to 2s 9d. eggs Is 3d to Is -Id, butter Is Gd, potatoes 13s Gd per sack, lemons Gd per doz, pumpkins 4s to Gs per dozen, melons 4s to 5s per doz, small cauliflowers Is to 4s. other vegetables as usual. Onions are scarce ‘and almost unobtainable. A most successful sale of fruit trees was also held on behalf of Messrs Gibbons and Co. Messrs Miller and Craig report tho following prices at their produce sale on Saturday:—Roosters Is 7d to 2s Oil, hens Is 9d to 2s oil, turkeys 4s to 4s 9tl, ducks 2s Bd, lnitter Is 3d to Is 6d, eggs Is 3d to Is sd, maize 4s Gd to 4s 7cl bushel, lemons Gd dozen, onions 2ld lb, pie melons 4s Gd doz, cauliflowers 3s Gd sack, carrots and parsnips Gs Gd sack, marrows 3s sack, cocoanuts 7s Gd sack, peanuts 2jd lb, apples 10s to 10s Gd case, oranges 4s Gd to 10s Gd case, bananas 6s case, canaries 5s eachHORSE SALES. Messrs Williams and Kettle Ltd. yarded about 30 hacks and harness horses at Wyllie’s horse bazaar on Saturday. There was a poor attendance, of buyers, but most of the lots were sold at prices varying from £o to .015. A draught horse was offered and passed in for privato sale. Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd also held a sale of horses at tho Masonic Stables. There was a small yarding, but the lots sold brought satisfactory prices.
