VOCAL RECITAL.
TE ItANGI PAI. The vocal concert to bo given in His Majesty’s Theatre to-night by Te Bangi Pai, who will bo assisted by local amateurs, should attracta crowded house. Tho box plan opened yesterday, and the booking was exceptionally good. The programme has been carefully chosen, and Te Bangi Pai will sing a romanza- from the opera “Faust.” Gounod’s sacred aria. “0. Divine Redeemer,” three bracketed songs, _“A Dream,” “My Ilosc.” and Co wen’s ' “Birthday Song,” and, assisted by local amateurs, Liza. Lehmann’s song cycle “The Daisy Chain,’” which includes such charming items as “Fairies,” “If no one ever marries me,” “The ship that sailed into the sun,” and “Thank you very much, indeed.” Miss Daisy Hansen will sing Bevan’s favorite song “The Flight of Ages,” and “Because’’ (Guy D’Hardeiotb Air. Barlow will sing Blumenthal’s “Evening Song,” Alessrs Dalrymple and Brown the duet “Watchman; what of the night?” and Air. Harold Piper will play two pianoforte solos.
