The many friends of' Air. A. F. Cuff, who was for thirteen years clerk to the Poverty Bay Roail Boardi will regret to hear that ho is lying seriously ill at his residence, AYhataupoko.
Very Rev. Dr. Kennedy, Principal of Alcoa nec College, left for Napier by the s.s. AVimmera list night. The members of the AVapiti ladies’ hockey team returned to Napier last night. Dr. Pottinger, who lias been assisting Dr. Scott for some time past, was .a passenger south by tho s.s. AVimmera last night, en route for England. After spending some time there, it is Dr. Pottingor’s intention to return to the Dominion and practice his profession. Constable Anderson left for Napier last evening in charge of two prisoners.
