CAUGHT IN A TYPHOON.
STEAMER OVERTURNED. HEAVY LOSS OF LIFE. United Press Association, Coptright (Received August 30, 4.30 p.m.) SINGAPORE, August 29. The steamer Duncan, bound from Karatsu to Singapore, capsized in a typhoon ofF Goto Islands. Only the third mate and the engmeer wore saved out of a crew of id whites and 41 Lascars.
