LONDON, Sept. 8. The “Times”, states that the employers accept the cotton operatives proposals for a -joint conference. 1 The Spinners’ Union has accumulated funds amounting to £pop,ooU. The Cardroom Operatives Union is comprised largely of women, am K less rich, but is a strong organisation.
